Son

We're making better use of Airbnb now and booking ahead. Just one day ahead though ,and I probably won't do it when we leave Norway. We say goodbye to our host Terese in Oslo and head for the village of Son , about 60kms south








Check out the size of the bike way out of Oslo. The cycle path runs beside the main road all the way .Fantastic biking!
We pop in to a service station at 10am for our morning fix. The weather forecaster promises that summer will be here TOMORROW





Here's a golden oldie.
About 10kms from Son it started to rain so we sat it out in a garage doorway. Then right in front of us a lady pulls up with a flat tyre. Here's my chance to pay for Eric's good deed to me so I go out and change it for her


Our hostess Solvi has left the key in a flower pot for us even though she doesn't know us from a bar of soap. She's lovely, and would you believe it, when I showed her the picture of the lady with the flat tyre ,she knew her !
