Sarpsborg

Yippee the sun is shining๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ˜Œ
First of all we've got to have a decent look at this little village.

They appear to make traditional wooden dinghys here. This is still the Oslo fjord and it's beautiful ,I can't believe how many boats are varnished here. They obviously don't have the UV problems that NZ has.
Love the grocers bike

We're still following the bike route 7 which is Eurovelo 3 . It's been a separate bike way beside the main road all the way. EXCEPT for the last 15 kms into Fredrikstad . It disappeared and we were sharing a road with lots of trucks. NOT a happy wife then ๐Ÿ˜ก
Fredrikstad is nice and it boasts a huge fort across the river. Inside it is the old town

The ferries are free! This area is known for its Iron Age sites , old burial sites, rock paintings etc

We follow the ancient route called the Glommastien trail in to Sarpsborg where we'll stay in another Airbnb . By the way, these little fellows aren't goats, they're a breed of sheep. Pretty aren't they ?๐Ÿ˜œ
