It was a bit of a rush to catch the morning ferry to Frederikshavn but we made it. This has been a lovely city, shame I couldn't get to see the Volvo factory but you need to book in the year before !
Sweden has been really nice but We'll be pleased to get on the flatter roads in Denmark
Long before we saw the port we saw this massive North Sea oil rig
I've booked us an Airbnb here, great value, $125 for the whole house 5 minutes walk from the ferry
It was superb and after a cup of tea we took off to see a museum just up the road.
This is what I wanted to see. Not a viking ship ,but a cargo ship of the same era. This museum is wonderful. The barn itself was built in 1530, the collection, mind blowing
The old manor house was built mostly in the same period and was fully furnished .
On the way back we came across this accident . The cycle way crossed the road and a car ran into the woman on the bike. The driver will probably get 10 years for that. ( kidding )
