Villafranca Montes de Oca

The N120 early in the morning. Biking heaven ! No wind, sun is up and not too hot. The hills aren't as frequent now and on this road easy to climb. The views from the top are beautiful and make it worth the climb

Santo Domingo. This is a tour group, most are
electric.( the bikes )

Shortly after ,the A12 joins the N120 and it's too busy to ride so cyclists join the pilgrims.
Some enterprising hostel owner was driving slowly along our road handing out cold water with the name and address of his hostel.

That's where we want to be tomorrow.

Belorado. The plane trees are pruned back hard each year to give a lovely shaded town square. Christine's brakes were down to the steel so I'm fitting new pads.

1000s of pilgrims each year and hardly a toilet on the Camino. No wonder some owners put these signs up

But on the plus side, the food and beer is sooo cheap and this lovely old hotel at Villafranca Montes de Oca was 36€ 😅
